Độ an toàn:
PEG-8 Dimethicone xếp mức 3 trên thang điểm 10 của EWG (trong đó 1 là thấp nhất, 10 là cao nhất về mức độ nguy hại). Nó bị cho rằng có thể gây nguy cơ độc tính hệ cơ quan không sinh sản thấp & mối quan tâm về ô nhiễm cao trong quá trình sản xuất.
