[2] Fragrance /Parfum trên nhãn sản phẩm đại diện cho một hỗn hợp không được tiết lộ của nhiều loại hóa chất và thành phần tạo mùi hương. Nó có nguy cơ gây kích ứng cao. Thành phần này cũng có thể hấp thụ qua da và được tìm thấy trong sữa mẹ. Chưa có những báo cáo cụ thể về tác dụng phụ của Fragrance đối với sức khỏe vì nó có thể chứa nhiều loại hóa chất khác nhau mà không được công bố rõ ràng trên bao bì. Tuy nhiên, các hỗn hợp mùi thơm thường chứa Phthalate – một loại dung môi giúp cố định hương thơm nhưng có thể làm tăng nguy cơ mắc bệnh tiểu đường ở thai phụ và có thể ảnh hưởng đến kỹ năng vận động và ngôn ngữ của trẻ em khi sinh ra. [3] Talc có thể bị nhiễm sợi amiăng, gây nguy cơ ngộ độc đường hô hấp và ung thư. Tuy nhiên, theo công bố mới nhất của FDA vào ngày 5/4/2024 về việc thử nghiệm 50 mẫu mỹ phẩm có chứa Talc thì kết quả cho thấy “Không phát hiện amiăng trong bất kỳ mẫu nào trong số 50 mẫu được thử nghiệm”_(Nguồn FDA). Dù vậy, điều đó không có nghĩa là Talc có trong tất cả các loại mỹ phẩm trên thị trường đều hoàn toàn không chứa Amiăng. Để đảm bảo an toàn tốt nhất, mẹ vẫn nên hạn chế sử dụng các sản phẩm có chứa Talc dưới dạng bột (có thể hít vào) để hạn chế rủi ro về sức khỏe ở mức thấp nhất.
[4] Rosemary Oil – Tinh dầu Hương thảo có thể gây kích thích tử cung, dễ dẫn đến sinh non. Mặc dù chưa có báo cáo cụ thể về nồng độ sử dụng có thể gây hại nhưng các chuyên gia khuyến cáo mẹ không nên dùng loại tinh dầu này trong thời gian mang thai. (Nguồn Parents)
